A freight forwarder books space with carriers on the shipper’s behalf and arranges customs, storage and inland transport, so the shipper deals with one contact. Loxson is licensed for ocean forwarding, air cargo forwarding, customs brokerage, warehousing and cargo packing.

CBM = L × W × H (cm) × pieces ÷ 1,000,000; 1 CBM ≈ 35.315 cubic feet. Two pallets of 120 × 100 × 80 cm are 1.92 CBM.

Volumetric weight (kg) = L × W × H (cm) × pieces ÷ 6,000; you pay on the greater of actual and volumetric weight. A 60 × 50 × 40 cm, 10 kg carton is charged as 20 kg.

FCL gives one shipper the whole container and suits volumes near or above a 20-foot box; LCL shares a container and is charged by volume or weight, suiting smaller or frequent shipments.

Usually a commercial invoice, packing list and bill of lading or air waybill, plus a certificate of origin, permit or inspection papers for some goods. Common forms are on our Resources page.

AEO is a customs certification for secure, compliant operators, bringing clearance facilitation that extends to countries with AEO mutual recognition with Taiwan. Loxson is AEO certified, certificate TWAEO-106000004.

Loxson’s own exclusive direct consolidation service from Taicang port to Keelung. With group offices in Kunshan, Suzhou and Taicang, Yangtze River Delta cargo is consolidated locally and shipped direct.

Buyer, seller and shipping origin are in different countries and goods ship directly from the third country. With offices on both sides of the strait, Loxson forwards the shipment, documents and transshipment.
